I really like this place . It was very quiet and everyone there was friendly. I would have given it a 5 star but there was no beach . Storms and erosion have taken it away and we didn't see the other review until a couple days before we were going to arrive and we were not going to cancel anyway , It is what it is , That being said it is in a very nice location if you want peace and quiet and that's exactly what we came for . Nokomis beach is 5 minutes down Casey key road and it was a hidden gem .We went every morning and stayed till 2 in the afternoon. I wanted to find a place like this to come and visit for the next 20 years and I will return when the beach returns , So hopefully they will contact me when the beach is back . Till then we will continue to go to Siesta key every year .

If you want a nice quiet old Florida motel this is the place. We have been coming here for years and have made great friends that we vacation with every year. Nice place to just relax! Management always very friendly and accommodating!

My boyfriend came here as a kid ever summer and I can see why! Nice peaceful quiet area with cute units each decorated with their own unique art pieces. The resort is placed between nice mansion type houses on a private beach with friendly neighbors. Staff is friendly and still remember my boyfriend and his family, great people who own and care for this place. We can't wait to go back!

Absolutely heartbroken by the hurricane and the destruction it caused. This is the most perfect place. I would go every year to visit my Aunt that stayed here. I loved collecting shark teeth and seeing the most beautiful sunsets.

I grew up vacationing here with my family and have memories that will stay with me forever. This place is an absolute treasure! Plus you can find shark teeth. Owners and other guests are friendly and it has amazing access to the beach, which is pretty private/less busy than the further south public beaches. Highly recommend!

First family vacation - 1979 Didn't get a chance to go again until a few years back. My happy place to shark tooth hunt. When I meditate, I think I'm in #7. No bell & whistles. Just perfect!

Definitely an “Old Florida” type of place that we adore! My husband and I stayed here while on our honeymoon and loved every moment. Our unit was clean and stocked with more than what we needed! We stayed in Unit 5 and had a private entrance to and from the beach. The resort also has beach chairs, beach toys, umbrellas, and anything else you can think of free for guests to use. I brought my own beach chair but didn’t even bother getting it out so I wouldn’t have to worry about getting sand into the car. Also have a washer/dryer available for guests and just ask for $1 in return for using their equipment and detergent. Not busy at all and very private. A perfect place for people who don’t like to be in big crowds! We can’t wait for our next stay! For future guests, our favorite restaurants were Juicy Seafood in Savannah (about 20 minutes from the hotel) and Pops Sunset Grill (about 10 minutes from the hotel). We tried many of the local restaurants like Deep Lagoon (didn’t like this place at all) and Casey Key Fish House (I think maybe we just ordered the wrong dishes here because they have very good reviews). Yoders Amish Restaurant had the best biscuit and gravy either of us have ever had and we were both raised in the south with biscuits and gravy regularly. It is a must do for breakfast! The only thing we would have liked are instructions for check out, maybe places on the fridge or somewhere similar. They may have been some but if there were, we overlooked them. We cleaned up after ourselves before leaving but wasn’t sure about what was “required.” Regardless, it was definitely a 11/10 stay!
